THE END OF THE WEDDING CEREMONY: THE EXIT OF THE BRIDE AND GROOM, ROSE PETAL TOSS. RICE TOSS.

ECO FRIENDLY WEDDING EXIT. TOSS IDEAS

How can you effectively conclude such an exciting stage of the wedding day as the wedding ceremony? Typically, the grand finale is marked with the help of petals or rice that guests throw towards the newly-weds as they exit the church or registry office.
Following a long-standing tradition, guests toss rice to wish the newly-weds wealth and fertility, while flower petals symbolize long-lasting marital love. As a photographer, I love capturing this beautiful ritual and always recommend that the bride and groom think about what they want to see in their photos.
If you’re planning a wedding and don’t know what to choose for the bride and groom’s exit, this article will be useful to you. Because many things look different in photos than in reality, I can help you prepare and create the best photos of your wedding.

PETALS

Firstly, forget about buying dried petals. In the photos, it will look as if the wind has scattered garbage from the nearest dump, which has landed on the wedding site.

What color of petals should you choose?

Think about the background against which this ritual will take place. Usually, it’s enough to look at a photo of the building or park where you’re going to make “toss” exit. If the background is dark, choose light-colored petals. If the background is light, choose a mixture of scarlet and pink petals.

How many petals should you buy?

I suggest that you forget about fashionable petal cones. In my experience, the number of petals that fits into the cone is not enough to make a beautiful picture in the photo. Don’t be lazy and buy a large number of petals. Let the guests shower you with large handfuls of petals from baskets and buckets. Buy twice as many petals as you think you need, and then it may be enough (but this is not accurate).

By the way, you can distribute both petals and rice to your guests. It will also be spectacular, so why bother with small details, right?

RICE

The same rule as for petals applies – for a good photo, there should not be a little rice, but a lot. Don’t think that a pinch of rice in the palm of a guest will make for a beautiful photo. Buy the best and cry once, in the sense of buying rice buckets.
The wedding organizer or the best man/maid of honour should give the command to the guests when they need to start toss petals and rice. You need to do this at the same time and throw them high. Then you’ll get the desired effect of a luxurious photo.

I’ll tell you about other ways to arrange the exit of the bride and groom in future publications.
