We were honoured to capture the atmosphere at a recent event for the Legal Diversity & Inclusion Alliance (LDIA) in Brussels.

The LDIA is a collective effort by law firms across Belgium, launched on 31 January 2019 by Steptoe and Van Bael & Bellis. It unites professionals committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone benefits from equal treatment and opportunities, irrespective of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability.

As a founding member, Loyens & Loeff explains that “member firms affirm their commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment, exchange good practices on diversity and inclusion, and raise awareness of non-discrimination and diversity issues by combining efforts in organising events, workshops, and training”.

The LDIA organises regular bi-monthly meetings, workshops, and seminars with professional actors and trainers. Over 200 attendees joined the launch event, including Brussels state secretary for equal opportunities, Bianca Debaets.
