Some photographers document weddings. I paint them.

I trained as an artist in Saint Petersburg — one of the most beautiful cities on earth — where I learned that light, composition, and emotion are never accidents. It was there that I picked up my first camera. Later, I spent years photographing weddings in the Luxury Caribbean resorts of the Dominican Republic — for Canadians and US couples whose exceptionally high standards taught me precision, attention to detail, and the art of working in a tight schedule. And for Latin American families who bring their own magic to a wedding: the dancing, the colour, the joy that fills every room.

Now I work as a wedding photographer in Brussels and across Belgium, alongside my husband Denis — not a second photographer, but something more versatile: a dedicated lighting assistant who makes us faster, more mobile, and able to create images that a solo photographer simply cannot. Portable lights, ready in seconds, in any venue, any weather.

My couples are usually somewhere between two worlds. One Belgian, one from somewhere else. Or both from elsewhere, choosing Belgium as the place to begin. I understand that feeling. I live it. And I know how to make a photo that holds both worlds at once.
